Dr Rupinder Singh Walia

Founding General Practitioner & Clinical Governance Lead

Dr Walia is an AHPRA-registered General Practitioner with 28 years of frontline clinical experience, and the sole accountable GP for Doctors Note Australia — he personally reviews and signs every certificate the platform issues.

Throughout his career he has worked at the intersection of medicine and technology. He is the author of Runtime Authority and AI First Clinic: A Practitioner’s Guide to Governed Medicine, and a pioneer in digital-health governance — building frameworks that bring clinical AI into medical triage without removing human oversight.

Skin360AI — connected lesion follow-up for general practice

The same governed approach now supports Skin360AI: a structured photo-follow-up workflow connecting a patient, one skin spot and the treating practice over time. A GP can record a baseline, choose the follow-up plan and receive the patient’s next photograph in the same private clinical timeline.

The current focus is intentionally narrow: reliable lesion follow-up with minimal practice administration. Clinical interpretation, recall, referral, biopsy and treatment decisions remain with the treating doctor. Employer verification & anti-fraud

Every certificate carries an embedded Employer Verification QR code. HR departments and academic institutions confirm the document is genuine in seconds, backed by a tamper-evident verification record.

Fair Work compliance

Our clinical assessment ensures every certificate satisfies the “satisfactory evidence” requirements for personal and carer’s leave under the Fair Work Act 2009.

What we don’t do

We don’t offer same-day or instant certificates — proper review takes time.
We don’t backdate certificates. Ever.
We don’t diagnose conditions. A certificate confirms an absence, not a medical finding.
